The Greensboro Swarm are the NBA Gatorade League (NBAGL) affiliate for the Charlotte Hornets. The team was first founded in 2015, playing their first campaign during the 2016-2017 season. I joined the team during this inaugural season as a sales intern. With a large family background in professional photography and a Nikon starter kit camera, I offered to take on the responsibility of shooting games and events until someone was hired for the role. After completing the internship period, the marketing team was so impressed with my work that they offered me the position for the rest of the season. Since then, I have completed four seasons as the team's official photographer, assisting with social media and marketing as well as sales and public relations. In addition to capturing the excitement of the games, I am also tasked with creating online content, photographing events, and helping in all facets of the organization. This position inspired me to invest in my career by upgrading my equipment and adding a photography minor to my college degree. I have learned so much during my time with the Swarm and have gained connections that will last a life time.
